About Lisa Su

Lisa Su, born November 7, 1969, is a Taiwanese-American business executive and electrical engineer who is the president, chief executive officer and chair of AMD. Early in her career, she worked at companies including Texas Instruments, IBM, and Freescale Semiconductor. She joined AMD in 2012 and became CEO in 2014. Under her leadership, AMD's stock has soared over 1,500%, and the company has gained significant market share in the CPU and GPU markets.
