Marine Le Pen

About Marine Le Pen

Marine Le Pen is a French lawyer and politician who has been the leader of France's National Rally (previously National Front) since 2011. She has run for the French presidency three times, reaching the run-off in both 2017 and 2022. Le Pen has worked to 'detoxify' and modernize her party's image, distancing it from the more overtly extremist positions associated with her father, Jean-Marie Le Pen, who founded the party.
